Ah, Spring! That lovely time of year when I know that church attendance will primarily be governed by the weather. (If it’s too bad, we stay home. If it’s too nice, we go out. Church does best with mediocre weather.)
As beautiful days and months of cabin fever lead us all heading to whatever outdoor activities we like best, I think it’s good to remember the value of celebrating in God’s creation. It’s a heck of a world that God has formed for us, and it would be a real shame to waste it. Sometime, when you’re floating down the river or walking up the fairway, think about shooting a prayer of thanks towards God, practicing prayer of sheer joyfulness for the bounty of nature all around us.
Still try to make it to Sunday Worship occasionally, though. It’s really hard to preach to you all when you’re spread out like that. But if you can’t make it, don’t forget to catch up by listening to the sermons on our website?
Hey, a Pastor can dream, right?
